The purpose of this policy is to provide information on the processing of personal data, as well as to explain how the website www.lassota.pl uses cookies.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data shall be KANCELARIA ADWOKACKA LASSOTA I PARTNERZY with its registered office in Rzeszów and the branch in Wrocław (the "Law Firm").

2. Purposes of your personal data processing and its legal basis

Your personal data shall be collected and processed by us:

2.1. to conclude or perform contracts with you - our clients as part of the legal services provided and other entities that cooperate with the Law Firm, pursuant to art. 6 lit. b or c of the GDPR [1]; [1] ;

2.2. to recruit people interested in working or cooperating with the Law Firm, pursuant to art. 6 lit. b of the GDPR;

2.3. on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Law Firm art. 6 lit. f of the GDPR) to:

a) contact with you, including using the contact forms available on the Law Firm's website, as well as by phone and e-mail,

b) adapt the content of the website to your preferences, create statistics and analyze Users' behavior through the use of cookies,

c) possible determination, investigation or defense against claims.

3. Is the provision of personal data voluntary?

The Law Firm processes your personal data in order to conclude or perform contracts with you and for contact purposes on a voluntary basis. However, refusing to provide them or requesting their removal will result in non-performance of the legal services selected by you. In the case of recruitment, failure to provide personal data will prevent participation in the recruitment procedure.

On a voluntary basis, data is also collected as part of cookies, but limiting the use of cookies may affect the correct operation of the Law Firm's website.

4. How long will we process personal data?

The personal data provided by you will be processed:

4.1. for the period of providing legal services for you, and then until the expiry of the limitation periods for possible claims and for the period required by law,

4.2. throughout the duration of the recruitment process, which is related to the processing of personal data, and then until the expiry of the limitation period for any claims; in the case of consent to the storage of data for future recruitment processes - until the consent is withdrawn,

4.3. until the relevant legitimate interests performed by the Law Firm as the data controller are fulfilled or until such processing is objected,

4.4. until you submit a justified objection to the processing of personal data collected through cookies.

5. Recipients of your personal data

We will transfer your personal data to our suppliers whom we commission services related to the processing of personal data, e.g. IT and accounting service, as well as law firms and lawyers cooperating with us in the field of outsourced activities. In order to ensure the security of the personal data provided to us, we oblige entities cooperating with us to process your data in accordance with the requirements provided for by the provisions governing the protection of personal data, including the GDPR.

6. Your rights related to the processing of personal data

You have the following rights related to the processing of personal data:

6.1. the right to access personal data - the right to obtain specific information about the processing of personal data, as well as to obtain a copy of the data;

6.2. the right to rectify personal data - the right to request the correction or completion of outdated data;

6.3. prawo do usunięcia danych osobowych – tzw. prawo do zapomnienia, w sytuacji gdy przetwarzanie nie jest już uzasadnione w świetle przepisów prawa;

6.4. the right to limit the processing of personal data - the right to request the restriction of processing only to storage or other data operations, until the legitimate reasons no longer apply;

6.5. the right to object to the processing of personal data due to the special situation of the data subject

6.6. the right to transfer personal data - the right to obtain data recording in a structured format, to the extent that the data is processed in connection with the concluded contract or consent;

6.7. the right to lodge a complaint in relation to the processing of personal data to the supervisory body, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

7. What are cookies and why are they collected?

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, that are stored on the device by which Users browse the content of our website. Our website lassota.pl uses cookies for statistical and functional purposes. The data collected in the logs are used only for the purpose of administering the website and analyzing visit statistics.

In connection with the use of cookies, we store the following data: public IP address of the computer from which the inquiry came (it can be directly the user's computer), name of the client's station - identification carried out by the http protocol, if possible, user name provided in the authorization process, time of arrival inquiries, the first line of the http request, the http response code, the number of bytes sent by the server, the URL of the page previously visited by the user (referrer link) - in the case when the lassota.pl website was accessed via a link, information about the user's browser, information about errors which occurred during the execution of the http transaction.
